March 1, 2018 -- Tanya Bryant, the current chief operating officer at ReNEW Schools, will now lead the charter school network as CEO.

During a ReNEW Board of Directors meeting Wednesday, Chair Stephen Rosenthal introduced a motion to appoint Bryant, who has worked with the organization since its founding year. Board members voted to approve the appointment.

Bryant, a certified public accountant, previously held the position of chief financial officer from 2013-2017. She began her education career as an elementary school teacher in 2003.

“I’m honored to accept this position, and I’m ready to lead ReNEW as we continue moving forward with hard work and dedication to our students,” Bryant said.
